Another Late Which Episode

In an interview with Den of Geek, it's been revealed that head writer Steven Moffat will pen five of series six's episodes. For series five he wrote six, but this time the number has dropped.
Also, another actor for this year's Christmas Special has been revealed - it's Steve North, who has appeared in dramas like Casualty and The Bill. He'll be playing a character called Older Benjamin.

News Round Up
Sorry, I've been really bad with news lately, but here's a round up of everything note-worthy:
- Two new covers for the Decide your Destiny books have been revealed and you can see them below - they feature the Judoon and the Werewolf.

- Secondly, another guest for this year's Christmas special has been revealed and it's Danny Horn, a welsh opera singer. He's rumoured to play a vicar, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
- Finally, it's also been rumoured that in this series' DVD boxset there will be some exclusive scenes written by Steven Moffat that feature the Doctor and Amy in the TARDIS. These are meant to show what happens between episodes, but this hasn't been confirmed yet either.

Christmas Special Guest Stars Confirmed!
Filming has begun on this year's Christmas special and, as a result, two of the guest stars have been revealed. They are Michael Gambon, famous for his potrayal of Harry Potter's Albus Dumbledore, and Welsh singing star Katherine Jenkins, who will be making her acting debut.
The episode is said to have a twist on the traditional Christmas Carol story and Steven Moffat has claimed that he had a lot of fun writing the script. More information will be posted when it comes!

Official Ratings Released For 'The Pandorica Opens'
The final ratings for The Pandorica Opens have been released earlier than usual and show that the last episode of series five was watched by an official total of 7.57 million people. 6.94 million watched on BBC One, while an additional 0.635 million watched on the BBC HD channel.
This is definitely an impressive finish for the series, as the episode gained a total of a 37% share of the television audience.
