Tennant and Piper Reunited

David Tennant and Billie Piper are set to work together once more! It's obviously not for Doctor Who, but this time it's for a film called 'Love on the Murder Mile.' The movie, which is directed by Piper's husband Laurence Fox, also stars Matthew Rhys and Mackensie Crook, and I'll post more information about the project when it's revealed. Thanks to Doctor Who Online for this!

In other news, a fourth and fifth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures has been confirmed in a new BBC press release. This is good news for all fans of the spin off and production for Series Four will happen in Cardiff later this month with the series set to broadcast in Autumn. Series Five will go into production in 2011 with transmission set for later that year.

Also, in a totally unrelated topic, I am searching for a new news-reporter who can regularly report news to me in an email. If you're interested, please contact me by this address.

New Episode Titles Revealed!

Some new episode titles for the upcoming fifth Series have been revealed! Episode four is called 'The Time of Angels' and episode 5 is called 'Flesh and Stone.' These will be a two parter written by Steven Moffat, featuring the return of the Weeping Angels and River Song.

As reported sometime earlier, episode six is called 'Vampires in Venice' and is written by Toby Whithouse. So the list of confirmed titles so far are as follows:

5.1: The Eleventh Hour
5.2: The Beast Below
5.3: Victory of the Daleks
5.4: The Time of Angels
5.5: Flesh and Stone
5.6: Vampires In Venice (thanks Anonymous!)

It's sounding brilliant so far!

New Image

I really am sorry for the lack of posts lately - there seems to be hardly any note-worthy news around! But anyway, here's a new picture of the Doctor and Amy, credit to Blogtor Who.

On another note, the blog will be having a regeneration in time for Series Five, so keep a look out for that!

Special 3D SFX Issue

Sorry about the lack of updates this week! But anyway, as Series 5 approaches closer and closer, a brand new image of the 11th Doctor and Amy Pond has been revealed, this time on the cover of a special 3D issue of SFX magazine that can be seen below.

As well as this, there is a nine page preview of the new series inside, certainly making it well worth buying! The issue is available at most good newsagents from March 10th at the price of £3.99.

Series Five Rumours

After the new trailer made its premiere on Saturday, all kinds of rumours have been flying around about Series Five. Firstly, although the actual transmission date for the series hasn't been confirmed yet, many blogs have been saying that it is likely to start on Saturday 3rd April, which is during Easter. When there's official confirmation, I'll post it here.

Also, it has been rumoured that James Corden (Smithy from 'Gavin and Stacey') will be starring in an upcoming episode. This has been speculated after he was seen filming in Cardiff, but this hasn't been confirmed yet.

Brand New Trailer

The new trailer for Series 5 has just been shown on BBC One and here it is for you to watch again. It was a little disappointing not seeing any clips from the actual show, but I still thought it was great! Bring on Easter 2010...
