The title for the next special was revealed at the end of 'The Next Doctor' yesterday, it's called Planet of the Dead. This has caused plenty of speculation about which planet the title is on about, mainly people seem to think it's about Gallifrey, the Doctor's destroyed home planet. I also think this is about Galifrey! This is because Planet of the Ood was about the Oods planet, Planet of the Dead is simmilar and sounds a lot like it could be Galifrey!
I think I know where it might be set, which I will be posting on my site a bit later on ;)

Hmmm, I don't know why but I've got the feeling that it's about The Vashta Nerada but that's just me.
I think it could be something to do with Gallifrey or it could be something to do with Earth.It's one of the two but I bet it's gonna be AWESOME!
i have always had an idea that it is possible for the death zone to still exist being as it is the realm of rassilon and the second doctor stated that nobody knew the extent of rassilon's powers. also this is the special with a new monster and if it was the death zone then it is possible for any monster to exist within it. and just for someone on the other discussion the doctor stated that gallifrey burned.
RTD has to bring back the timelords to an extent before he leaves! not sure its a gallifrey story though
I think it's Gallifrey, because "Planet Of The Dead " and some landscapes in Tunisia look like Gallifrey. I been there.
erm, who knows what looks like gallifrey? :) i agree they are prob using tunisia as alien landscape though!
its not to do with gallifrey, its a whole new story, new monsters on a planet once filled with life but strangly is now dead and thus the doctor appears to investigate....along with his new assisstant, a young female from what i have heard through the grape vine, probably someone from that planet, one of so many survivors of the death thats taking over.
Change that....i think that the planet of teh dead is a place where various creatures and aliens are burried after death, like a graveyard on a massive scale and people visiting there to pay their respects but one day it all goes wrong (dunno how or whatnot) but the doctors their and he has to stop it, i presume he meets his next companion their on the planet, someone he helps who in turn assists the doctor in solving the mystery of the planet of the dead.
