It has been rumoured for a long time, but now it's been confirmed! Rose Tyler is returning for, presumably, the 10th Doctor's final episodes! Also coming back is Camille Coduri, who plays Rose's mother, Jackie. Pictures from filming at Cardiff (in the snow!) can be seen below:

Ahh but then again we don't know when its set... by the looks of things.. it's the Powell Estate so its not exactly ruining it... yet!
Interesting about what Emma said, maybe it is back in time. Rose's hair is longer like in series 1 and Jackie is wearing "chav-ier" clothes. You know in series 1/2, Jackie wore hoodies etc? and in series 4 she returned in posher clothes obviously because she was with Pete the millionaire. Well here she seems to be wearing clothes similar to her old style...Just thought I'd point it out XD Great post! :D
This is completely ruining the excitement of The Stolen Earth / Journey's End of all the companions returning.
We need a story where there are completely brand new things in it with no returning companions or monsters!
I really cannot believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait until the 2009 Specials are over so we can have new adventures with no nostalgia!
I've changed my mind! I can't wait for Rose's appearence! Although it only looks like Rose and Jackie, Sarah Jane and Luke, and Donna each just have 1 scene.
