Unofficial overnight ratings have shown that last night's episode The Vampires of Venice was watched by a total of 6.2 million people. 5.9 million watched on BBC One with an additional 0.42 million tuning in on the BBC HD channel.This may seem like a drop, but it was an earlier time slot than usual and the official ratings are normally higher anyway. Also, it was still the second most watched programme of the day, being beaten by Britain's Got Talent.

Hmm, not to impressive, however the official ratings are normally a lot higher!
I feel guilty watching Britain's Got Talent now :P
