According to the Sun, Matt Smith, who will play the 11th Doctor during Series 5 and beyond (?) in 2010, has been offered £1 million to play the Time Lord for five years. The contract he has agreed to apparently comes with the option for him to stay for another 2 years after he has completed his guaranteed 3 years.An insider said, "Bosses don't want Matt doing a David and leaving when things are going great." Please remember this is the Sun, not the most reliable paper in the world...
