The cover for the Planet of the Dead DVD has been released by 2entertain, and can be seen below. The synopsis is as follows:Bionic Woman and Merlin star Michelle Ryan plays the mysterious Lady Christina de Souza who joins the Doctor on a bus-trip which takes a very unexpected detour into danger. British comedy star Lee Evans also joins the cast playing a character called Malcolm whose life becomes connected to the Doctor's under extraordinary circumstances and Noma Dumezweni returns as Captain Erisa Magambo - last seen helping Rose and Donna save the world in Turn Left.
Sorry for the poor quality picture with the watermark - I'll try and replace it as soon as I can. The DVD is released on June 29th 2009 at a RRP of £15.99. Will you be getting this? Personally, I'm hoping there will be a boxset with all the specials in - I'll definitely get that!

Any idea on extras?
I'm hoping there will be a box set of all the 2009 specials as well, otherwise they will be the first episode from 2005 onwards not to be in a box set.
