The Hungry Earth - Thoughts

Episode eight The Hungry Earth was just broadcasted on BBC One and BBC HD. It follows the story of an ambitious drilling project in 2020, but problems soon follow when something starts drilling back up...

What did you think of this episode? Did you like the return of the Silurians or was it all just a little disappointing? Please leave your thoughts below and feel free to discuss any theories for next week.

Man, this episode was bad. Boring story, boring set-up, boring characters and too many questions left unanswered (until next week).
Not to mention the Silurians. What the hell were they thinking? The monsters we saw tonight were the Silurians in name only. Where's the third eye? Where's the fish face? I get that they were meant to be some kind of subspecies, but if you're going to change them that much then what's the point?
Worst of the current series so far. After last week's excellent ep, this was really disappointing.

I thought it was very good actually! It had the same feeling as Amy's Choice, can not wait until next weeks!

I thought this episode was a little disappointing. Not much seemed to happen, and it seemed a little short. Hopefully it'll improve next week! I saw the trailer for next week and I'm really worried for Rory, because I know it's his last episode as a companion! I hope he doesn't die!!
