For some strange reason which I can't even begin to understand, Doctor Who didn't win the award for Best Drama last night at the BAFTAs. It lost out to Wallander, and faced other competition from Shameless and Spooks. David Tennant also presented an award and attended the evening with his girlfriend Georgia Moffett.Also, today is Russell T Davies' birthday and he is 46 years old. I'd just like to wish him a great day and thanks for writing so many amazing Doctor Who episodes. He will certainly be missed.

I suppose Bafta are giving other shows a chance after Doctor Who winning three or four years in a row, I think.
Maybe they're just jealous of Doctor Who as it's so good, that would be believable :)
