Martha to Return?

Rumours have been flying around that Martha Jones, played by Freema Agyeman, could be returning to Doctor Who one last time before the 10th incarnation, played by David Tennant, regenerates into Doctor No 11, Matt Smith.

The Sun, hardly one of the most reliable newspapers..., has said, "Freema’s on board. It’s early days so it’s unclear what exactly Martha will be up to in the new show."

Well, we'll have to wait and see, but perhaps this could be one return too many for Miss Jones? Martha first appeared for the whole of Series 3, then featured in 3 Torchwood episodes, 'Reset,' 'Dead Man Walking' and 'A Day in the Death.' She then returned to Doctor Who during Series 4 for 3 episodes, 'The Sontaran Stratagem,' 'The Poison Sky' and 'The Doctor's Daughter.' She then re-returned during the finale 'The Stolen Earth' and 'Journey's End.' Now that's a history!

It would be OK if she was coming in to Torchwood as a permanent character, but I don't think she should return in Doctor Who.

I'd love to see Martha/Freema back in the Whoniverse, but like Will said as a permanent member of team Torchwood, not flitting in and out of The Doctor's life. She's too good a character to fritter away like that.

I am not to sure if she should return, I think she is turning into a new Rose lol

I'd like to see her, back but I liked Donna more! Bring Donna back.

I agree that Martha should join Torchwood, she was really good in that.

Again Martha should join Jack, Gwen and Ianto in Torchwood and it would be great to see a familiar face in the show once again but I will admit that my favourite is Billie Piper's Rose Tyler. Bring bak Billie. The only problem is that when Steven Moffatt takes over he has said that he is not a huge fan of Rose claiming she is too needy, so maybe he will also discard Martha.
